My perfect day: A blue sky day with family and friends on the north coast of Cornwall in my favourite house on a terrace, overlooking the estuary. The prospect ahead for some boating, water skiing and possibly some late evening surfing after a long lunch and lazy afternoon. Heaven indeed!
What I think we are very good at: Offering friendly, unpretentious and professional advice.
My favourite local restaurant: Caraffini - Always buzzy and lively, friendly and attentive, giving first class Italian hospitality. A real must for all locals!
My favourite house in England: Foys, North Cornwall – the setting for many memorable family holidays.
My favourite blue plaque and why: Jimi Hendrix - a guitar legend!
My passion: The painful art of learning how to play the guitar.
My perfect day: A game of doubles tennis with good friends followed by a long relaxing lunch outside in the Sussex countryside where I can enjoy the beautiful views. An afternoon snooze on a sun lounger, or in a hammock by a swimming pool, in preparation of a good fun evening ahead.
What I think we are very good at: Not taking ourselves too seriously.
My favourite local restaurant: This is very difficult as I like so many of them around here. I suppose Boisdales would slip into first place. Ranald, who owns it, has been a friend for years, from when I first came to work in Belgravia back in 1991. He is a great "bon vivre" and his character is very much part of the establishment. I am not a smoker but I like the way one can have a suitably delicious and long lunch and then retire upstairs to the roof terrace to indulge in some of their excellent cigars.
My favourite house in England: Chatsworth.
My favourite blue plaque and why: William Wilberforce. My wife's great, great, great, great (not sure how many greats!) grandfather.
My passion: Not printable!
My perfect day: Waking up in Yorkshire on a sunny, but crisp and cold, day. Horse riding in the morning, lunch with Mum followed by a spot of shopping then some down time with my family before an evening of catching up with friends in Harrogate. All this helps to re-charge the batteries before heading back to London for the day job!
What I think we are very good at: A strong team dynamic offering a truly bespoke and individual service
My favourite local restaurant: Tozi - a relatively new opening in Pimlico offering beautifully presented and very tasty cicchetti (Italian tapas).
My favourite house in England: Tredegar House in South Wales (admittedly not in England, but I'm Welsh!)
My favourite blue plaque and why: Enid Blyton - brings back fond childhood memories
My passion: Baking, cooking, wine
My perfect day: a sunny Saturday in summer, having an extra hour in bed and a bacon sarnie for breakfast whilst watching Raceline on Channel 4 and putting a little bet on. This is usually followed by meeting some friends for a round of golf at the local course followed by a few pints, a bbq and spending the rest of the day relaxing in my tiny garden enjoying the weather.
What I think we are very good at: Our knowledge and enthusiasm of the area.
My favourite local restaurant: Hunan on Pimlico Green. I'm not normally a fan of Chinese food however, this is delicious, freshly prepared Tapas-style dishes, where 8-10 courses are brought out to you after you've told them how spicy you would like it. There are no menus but somehow everything I have eaten there has been remarkable and the sea bass is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten.
My favourite house in England is: Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland.
My favourite blue plaque and why: PG Wodehouse because Jeeves and Wooster is one of the funniest creations ever!
My passion: Food and wine.
My perfect day: Without doubt this would be on a Greek island with my family under a blazing sun and would involve hiring a boat and finding a secluded beach. Plenty of swimming, diving and water-skiing interspersed with a light lunch at a waterside taverna.
What I think we are very good at: Enjoying our work and not being afraid to tell our clients something they may not want to hear.
My favourite local restaurant: We are fortunate to have so many to choose from but purely based on past experiences, The Goring takes a lot of beating. The staff are always incredibly welcoming and it is no surprise it has received numerous awards for its traditional British menu. Slightly takes you back in time but just such a civilised place to dine and unwind.
My favourite house in England: Anywhere with a Capability Brown garden.
My favourite blue plaque and why: Spike Milligan's, as I can read his books again and again and still chuckle.
My passion: A good fictional crime novel to ease the commute.
