Meet the team - Ayrton Wylie Limited

Simon Ayrton

Director

My perfect day: A blue sky day with family and friends on the north coast of Cornwall in my favourite house on a terrace, overlooking the estuary. The prospect ahead for some boating, water skiing and possibly some late evening surfing after a long lunch and lazy afternoon. Heaven indeed!

What I think we are very good at: Offering friendly, unpretentious and professional advice.

My favourite local restaurant: Caraffini - Always buzzy and lively, friendly and attentive, giving first class Italian hospitality. A real must for all locals!

My favourite house in England: Foys, North Cornwall – the setting for many memorable family holidays.

My favourite blue plaque and why: Jimi Hendrix - a guitar legend!

My passion: The painful art of learning to play the guitar.

Seamus Wylie

Director

My perfect day: A game of doubles tennis with good friends followed by a long relaxing lunch outside in the Sussex countryside where I can enjoy the beautiful views. An afternoon snooze on a sun lounger, or in a hammock by a swimming pool, in preparation of a good fun evening ahead.

What I think we are very good at: Not taking ourselves too seriously, but having a positive work ethic.

My favourite local restaurant: This is very difficult as I like so many of them around here. I suppose one of the Olivo Restaurants would get my vote. Whether it is Olivomare, Olivo, Olivocarne or Oliveto, they are all superb restaurants in their own right. Vibrant, with excellent food and wine. What more do you want?!

My favourite house in England: Chatsworth.

My favourite blue plaque and why: William Wilberforce. My wife's great, great, great, great (not sure how many greats!) grandfather.

My passion: All things Irish

Justin Randall

Finance Director

My perfect day: Without doubt this would be on a Greek island with my family under a blazing sun and would involve hiring a boat and finding a secluded beach. Plenty of swimming, diving and water-skiing interspersed with a light lunch at a waterside taverna.

What I think we are very good at: Enjoying our work and not being afraid to tell our clients something they may not want to hear.

My favourite local restaurant: We are fortunate to have so many to choose from but purely based on past experiences, The Goring takes a lot of beating. The staff are always incredibly welcoming and it is no surprise it has received numerous awards for its traditional British menu. Slightly takes you back in time but just such a civilised place to dine and unwind.

My favourite house in England: Anywhere with a Capability Brown garden.

My favourite blue plaque and why: Spike Milligan's, as I can read his books again and again and still chuckle.

My passion: A good fictional crime novel to ease the commute.

Georgia Chinn

Sales & Lettings Coordinator

My perfect day: A clear summers day sunbathing or wake boarding on the boat with my family in Jersey, followed by a lovely swim with our dog and a walk home over the cliff paths. This is usually followed by a G&T and dinner on the patio.

What I think we are very good at: Providing a professional service but also not taking ourselves too seriously.

My favourite local restaurant: The Pantechnicon. The building and the food are stunning.

My favourite house in England: Buckingham Palace.

My favourite blue plaque and why: Freddie Mercury. What an icon!

My passion: Running, going to the gym and most importantly dogs.
